Do you have a favourite picture book that you use to launch a science discussion or activity? We are compiling a list of books to support all grade levels and all science strands - Processes of Science, Earth & Space Science, Life Science and Physical Science.
To access the lists, please click on the links in the left sidebar. (There are four lists - Earth & Space Science, Life Science, Physical Science and Processes of Science.)
This project has been initiated by Surrey School District Helping Teachers to create a database of titles which could possibly be used to help make connections with science topics.
The list will be updated three times each year, adding your input as we go. For now, the document will be limited to Surrey teachers, however, we would like to extend the project to other districts in the future.
The resources available on this site have been compiled using a Google Spreadsheet at __http://bit.ly/aO28vu__ Please contribute to the list whenever you can!
